月刊『東京人』8月号連載企画「都市と環境」に、代表 太刀川英輔が寄稿

Eisuke Tachikawa, CEO of NOSIGNER, will contribute to the “Cities and the Environment” series in the August 2026 issue of the monthly magazine Tokyo-jin (scheduled for release on July 3). In this series, experts introduce places and initiatives of interest under the theme of “Cities and the Environment.” Tachikawa focuses on “koajiro Forest” in Miura, Kanagawa Prefecture, and writes about the value of natural environments preserved in close proximity to urban life.

About an hour and a half from Tokyo lies a forest that represents hope for humanity. Koajiro Forest is an exceptionally precious natural environment where the ecosystem—from the headwaters to the tidal flats and the sea—remains intact as a single, continuous ecosystem. Realizing that such a rich ecosystem remains so close to the city provides an opportunity to reframe environmental issues—not as something distant, but as something directly connected to our own lives. When you find yourself in this place, you can truly feel that the city and nature are by no means separate.
