NOSIGNER CEO Eisuke Tachikawa Speaks at the 2026 APEC Seminar on AI-Driven Design Innovation in Taipei

Eisuke Tachikawa, CEO of NOSIGNER, spoke at the “2026 APEC Seminar on AI-Driven Design Innovation,” hosted by the Taiwan Design Research Institute (TDRI) in Taipei, Taiwan, in September 2026.

Organized under the framework of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC), the international seminar gathered nearly 100 experts, industry leaders, and government delegates from eight member economies—including Japan, Taiwan, South Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Peru, and Thailand—to exchange insights on emerging trends and practical methodologies in AI-powered design innovation.

The seminar centered around four key pillars:
・Trends in AI-Driven Design Innovation
・Practical Applications of AI-Driven Design Solutions
・Design and Technology: Strategic Pathways for Business Transformation
・The Complementary Future of Design and AI: Talent, Policy, and Regional Cooperation

Discussions addressed critical themes ranging from lowering the barrier for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) to adopt AI, to leveraging AI-driven design as a catalyst for enterprise growth and regional resilience.

Representing Japan among a distinguished lineup of international speakers, Tachikawa shared his perspectives on how design and generative intelligence can complement one another to drive transformative change across industries, drawing upon NOSIGNER’s multidisciplinary projects and the methodology of Evolutionary Thinking (Shinka Shiko). Through active cross-border and cross-sector dialogues, NOSIGNER continues to foster synergy between design and technological innovation throughout the Asia-Pacific region.
