The “FUTURE KID TAKARA” project—for which NOSIGNER designed the logo —has won the 2026 Good Design Award

The “FUTURE KID TAKARA” project—for which NOSIGNER designed the logo, original typeface, and posters—has won the 2026 Good Design Award (organized by the Japan Institute of Design Promotion, a public interest incorporated foundation).

“FUTURE KID TAKARA” is a free series of short animated educational videos designed to help children learn about global warming and decarbonization on their own. Produced primarily by NHK Enterprises and STUDIO4℃, the series consists of 11 episodes, each 5–6 minutes long, and is available on YouTube.

The content, developed under the supervision of experts, includes idea sheets for teachers and worksheets that can be used at home. After its debut at the 2025 Osaka-Kansai Expo, the series has been broadcast on NHK E-Tele, presented at COP30, and nominated at the Fantasia International Film Festival, expanding its use to schools, communities, and corporate training programs.

During the judging process, the series was praised for its combination of animated storytelling and real-world footage. Key points of praise included its structure, which allows viewers to learn by moving back and forth between scientific facts and real-world events, as well as the fact that it is available for free on YouTube, thereby opening up a gateway to learning for a wide audience.

The award-winning work will be displayed on panels at the “2026 Good Design Award Exhibition,” to be held at Tokyo Midtown from October 31 to November 4.

NOSIGNER will continue its design activities that contribute to climate change adaptation and education that paves the way for the future.
