We designed the space and installation art for the Prussian Blue Device Exhibition, which connected the latest Japanese patent technology to art and design. Upon external stimulus such as electricity, the Prussian blue device gradually changes its color from transparent to blue. The exhibition was designed upon the molecular structure within the device, arranging the exhibits on top of fixtures of steel rod in a lattice pattern. We also created fun items that would deepen the public’s understanding of the device, such as building blocks that show the molecular structure, and a switch that shows the change of color. Furthermore, we created a 2m cubic display as an installation to present technology’s potential through the steady change in color.
